Project Update – December 2019
In May of 2019 the Police Station Building Committee began the process to hire an Owner’s Project Manager (OPM) for the project. The Committee reviewed proposals, shortlisted firms, and conducted interviews. Daedalus Projects, Inc, a CHA Company, was selected and approved by the Building Committee, the Mayor, and the City Council. The OPM team that will be assigned to the Police Station project includes Richard Marks and Christina Opper, who also served as the OPM for the Leominster High School renovation/addition project.
Following the selection of the Owner’s Project Manager, the Project Team moved forward with the Designer Selection Process. The project received five (5) proposals, all from highly-qualified architectural firms. The Building Committee shortlisted three (3) firms. Interviews with the shortlisted firms are scheduled for January 9th.
